The History of High-Frequenzy therapy

High frequency therapy is a medical science which is very old and which has faded into obscurity in the course of time. So-called Tesla currents were developed in 1880 and were then turned into high frequency devices by various manufacturers. The distinguishing feature therein was that very different and lots of glass electrodes were used. In 1892 Jacques-Arsène d’Arsonval continued with development. Numerous doctors took on this, at the time, innovative and very successful treatment form. One ardent proponent of high frequency was Ewald Paul in 1920, who lead scientific high frequency and light research in Munich. He published a little booklet in 1930 'Advances in high frequency therapy', which is already in its 100th edition! Before World War 2 Ewald Paul's books were placed on the list of prohibited books.  In the turmoil of war, knowledge about this achievement in high frequency then for the most part fell by the wayside.

The treatment successes of high frequency have however been proven; it is worthwhile that a Client / Patient, according to medical findings, is first of all prescribed high frequency therapy with around 6 to 10 treatments, before an operation is carried out.

There are no possible side effects from this treatment.

Below are images of devices from around the turn of the 1900s.
